Damon - CEO & Agency Owner
With a 15 year background in the hospitality industry, taking care of people is part of who Damon became early on in his career, starting at age 15. What later drew him to the insurance & financial industry was the opportunity to do more than just take care of people but to truly make a difference in a person’s everyday life. Being an Agent provides the opportunity to change lives for the better every single day, leaving our customers and the people we meet in a better situation than when we first met.
When Damon is not in the office you will find him gardening and doing yard work (which he finds oddly relaxing), spending time with family on one of their crazy weekend road trips or enjoying all that our community has to offer whether its hanging at the park or at a downtown street fest! The Priddy family stays very active in the local community and is member of the local Chamber of Commerce. Damon is also the founder and president of the Petersburg Veterans Memorial Park non-profit organization and fund.
Damon's involvement in family and a work-life balance was the driving factor in becoming a business owner and forming the agency. Damon believes that responsible people thrive on freedom and are worthy of freedom. Our model is to increase a team members freedom as we grow and as the individual grows with us. This is why Damon believes that we do not have pages upon pages of "what you're not supposed to do" and offers a flexible work environment with freedoms like working towards unlimited PTO and you might see some youngsters in the office from time to time for unexpected "bring your kids to work" days!
Our agency is aggressively looking to grow not only the Illinois market but also Missouri, Iowa and Kentucky!
